Tennessee hosting 4-star Texas commit should have Sark shaking in his boots

Will Josh Heupel be able to flim him?

A monster and we mean monster visit weekend is on the way for the Tennessee football team. Some of the top targets on the board for Josh Heupel will be making their way to Knoxville for their officials. Will a commit or two be on the way?

That's what fans are hoping for, with a potential flip being something people are focused on too. This weekend, 4-star Texas commit Chris Stewart will be on campus for his Vols OV. The elite wide receiver prospect is Austin-bound for now, but Heupel and his coaching staff are ready to give him something to think about:

4-star Texas commit Chris Stewart will take a Tennessee official visit this weekend

A Pearland, Texas product, Stewart has picked up 25 offers throughout his recruitment, but he committed to play for Steve Sarkisian last June. He's been a longtime Longhorns pledge, but that hasn't stopped other teams from showing serious interest.

This obviously includes the Vols, who have an exciting 2026 class on the offensive side of the ball being cooked up. Things are of course highlighted by 5-star quarterback Faizon Brandon and 5-star offensive tackle Gabriel Osenda.

Don't forget about 4-star wide receiver Tyreek King, who is a Knoxville local. There are plenty of eyes on 5-star WR Tristen Keys, an LSU commit who is also visiting Tennessee. In a perfect world, both Keys and Stewart will flip to Tennessee, but that's not going to be easy for the SEC powerhouse.

However, everyone knows what a memorable two-day trip on campus can do for a recruit. Heupel is going to no question roll out the red carpet for Stewart and the other targets who have made their way to town. Getting Stewart to take this visit is step one. Getting him to flip is of course step two, which is something Sark and Texas need to be worried about moving forward.
