Is this something for Alabama and Kalen DeBoer to worry about? Well, that's nothing Tennessee football fans are concerned about, as Josh Heupel is looking to pull a fast one recruiting wise on his SEC rival.
When it comes to 4-star cornerback Zyan Gibson, he's committed to the Tide and the expectation is that he'll sign with DeBoer in December. Hold the phone on that. On Tuesday, breaking news has come in that the elite defensive back will be taking an official visit to Knoxville this weekend. This sure has a lot of people talking:

4-star Alabama commit Zyan Gibson will visit Tennessee this weekend
Gibson was the one to let everyone know of his trip and it has surprised plenty of us out there. Gibson has been committed to Alabama since last December and it seemed like he was fully locked in with his decision. However, Heupel and Co. are giving him a lot to think about.
Tennessee isn't the only program after him, however, as Ole Miss and Lane Kiffin hosted him for an OV last weekend too. Gibson has picked up more than 20 offers throughout his recruitment, but Alabama remains the program to beat here.
He's ranked four stars, the No. 4 cornerback in the country and the No. 48 player nationally according to the 247Sports Composite. With Gibson being from Alabama, DeBoer and his coaches are doing everything possible to keep the in-state prospect home.
Moving forward, it sure seems like other schools are going to keep working to flip him. Tennessee and Heupel will have their chance to turn his head this weekend. There's a loaded list of visitors on their way to town, which also includes 5-star EDGE Tristian Givens. Could some major news be on the way for the Vols? We hope so and Gibson will be a name to keep an eye on moving forward.
