The wait is just about over. On Saturday night, Tennessee football is going to host Oklahoma in a matchup that's going to dominate the TV ratings for the primetime slot - we just hope a lot of you aren't counting on YouTube TV to catch all of the action.

Tennessee fans relying on YouTube TV could get screwed out of watching Oklahoma game

Regardless, Neyland Stadium will feature a 'dark mode' vibe and the Vols players are going to feed off the electric energy. Will it lead to Tennessee posting a needed win to improve to 7-2 and keep its hopes to reach the College Football Playoff alive? That's what everyone is hoping for, but it's not going to be easy for Josh Heupel and his standouts.

Tennessee is favored by 2.5 points taking on Oklahoma on Saturday night

Per the FanDuel Sportsbook, the Vols are favored by 2.5 points. The line was originally at 3.5 points, but there's been a small shift there. Cause for concern for the Tennessee faithful ahead of kickoff? We hope not, as this indeed is a must-win game for Tennessee - the same can be said for OU.

The Vols have looked great this year, but Tim Banks and his defense let everyone down in a massive way against both Georgia and Alabama. The loss to the Dawgs in Week 3 was the textbook definition of heartbreaking, as the Vols were a late field goal away from pulling off the upset.

Against Alabama, too many mental mistakes led to the Vols suffering a bit of a lopsided loss. None of that matters going up against Oklahoma, a team fired up to silence its haters following a loss to Ole Miss last weekend.

Offensive coordinator Ben Arbuckle had plenty of people frustrated after that loss to the Rebels, while people were screaming that John Mateer is overrated. Both of them will have something to prove against the Vols with the rest of the country watching this meeting closely.

Something tells us this is going to be a close game and it might even come down to the final seconds. Tennessee and Oklahoma will be tied at 24 and Max Gilbert will take the field with a 46-yard attempt in front of him to send Knoxville into a frenzy. Through the uprights and the Vols win in walk-off fashion... book it.

Prediction: Tennessee 27-24 over Oklahoma
