Hearts dropped in the Tennessee win over Kennesaw State when stud running back DeSean Bishop went down twice with a hip injury. Luckily, head coach Josh Heupel left no doubt earlier this week that his veteran playmaker would be good to go to take on Texas in Week 4. Despite that, there was still some worry ahead of the initial Tennessee-Texas injury report coming out.
Thankfully, all worries have been lifted in the blink of an eye. Said report just dropped and in some extra good news for Vols fans out there, Bishop is nowhere to be seen. With this, it confirms nothing is going to stop him from taking the field at Neyland Stadium come Saturday.

Boom. While plenty of signs were being pointed in Bishop being just fine, we now have the confirmation that will calm any nerves. And with that, countless eyes are going to be on Bishop to look electric each time he gets the ball - the list includes President Donald Trump, who was just announced to be making his way to Knoxville for this major matchup.
Bishop has been on fire thus far this season with the ball in his hands, highlighted by his career night against Georgia Tech in Week 2. During that victory in Atlanta over the Yellow Jackets, Bishop posted 147 yards. On the season, he's got 43 carries for 286 yards and four touchdowns to his name.
What can we expect out of him against the Longhorns and Will Muschamp's defense on Saturday at Neyland Stadium? It's tough to put an exact number on things, but knowing he's healthy is massive for Heupel and his offensive game plan. You've got to figure Daune Morris will be ready to see plenty of snaps too, but this will be the Bishop show to lead the ground game.
Faizon Brandon is going to be tasked in throwing the ball all over the field in this one too, but having Bishop by his side is going to take plenty of pressure off of the young 5-star quarterback. Soon enough, the Vols will take the field and while they're home underdogs for the upcoming battle, the Tennessee players have an upset on their minds as a whole. And it goes without saying, but having Bishop suited up and fighting for extra yards will help tremendously with those efforts.
