Thus far, things have been going pretty darn easy for Tennessee football against UAB in Week 4. Joey Aguilar has looked solid with the ball in his hands and the ground game isn't having any issues moving the ball against the Blazers.
5-star Kesean Bowman decommits from Oregon and his new leader should be obvious
However, there was one incident in the first half that has a lot of people talking and not in a good way. After a PAT from kicker Max Gilbert, it looked like UAB safety Sirad Bryant was jawwing with Tennessee a bit and he ended up kicking/stomping on Gilbert's foot, which caused the kicker to bend over in pain. There's simply no room in the game for this:

TV cameras caught UAB's Sirad Bryant delivering a cheap shot on Max Gilbert
Come on, that's simply unacceptable right there. It's one thing for the players to be talking a little bit of trash, but for Bryant to stomp Gilbert has a lot of Vols fans pretty livid. How in the world was he not ejected for that too? Even some UAB fans online are calling him out.
Luckily, Gilbert wasn't seriously hurt or anything and the game has continued with the Vols dominating play on both sides of the ball. This was expected, as Josh Heupel and Co. were heavy favorites well before the two teams made their way to Neyland Stadium.
Tennessee is coming off the heartbreaking loss to Georgia in Week 3, which still keeps plenty of people up late at night. Despite that result, the Vols proved to the rest of the country that they're going to be able to hang tough with any team they face in 2025.
Following the showdown with UAB, Tennessee will shift its focus to SEC play and Mississippi State is on the schedule next. Then, a bye will arrive, followed by a meeting with Arkansas and then the highly-anticipated Oct. 18 battle at Alabama.
