In case you missed it, Tennessee is back with Adidas as its official apparel provider, and the Vols are slowly unveiling their new uniforms. Given that Tennessee has some of the most iconic colors and jerseys in college sports, fans have been anxiously waiting to see what the new Adidas threads will look like.
Josh Heupel was fired up about the change as he said, "We appreciate adidas recognizing the power of the Tennessee brand and we are excited about the future of this transformative partnership. Both current and future Vols will benefit from this historic deal. adidas is providing us with world-class resources and apparel that will continue to push our brand to the forefront of college football for years to come. We can't wait to showcase our adidas uniforms this fall."
Rivals highlights Tennessee’s huge flip as one of the cycle’s best moves
So not only are fans happy about the move to Adidas, but the coaches are as well. This partnership should not only help the Vols look great, but it should also help us all know recruits love good uniforms and NIL. Adidas should be helping Tennessee with both areas.
The first piece of Tennessee’s Adidas-era uniform rollout officially arrived this morning, as the Vols unveiled their new orange jerseys.
After weeks of anticipation, fans finally got their first detailed look at one of the most iconic uniforms in college athletics. Take a look for yourself:

You have to love seeing the program not do anything too crazy and stick with the traditional Vols uniforms. I hate when teams try to get too fancy with extra stripes, random designs, and unnecessary changes, and that seems to be the consensus among Tennessee fans as well. The Adidas logo looks great next to the SEC patch, and the numbers have a clean size and font. I’m not sure how anyone could complain about these new jerseys.

This is absolutely beautiful. It feels good being the biggest Adidas brand in college sports.

All the weirdos that simped for a swoosh are in total shambles😂 https://t.co/9sZ2jol72n
I like the big 90’s numbers. Hopefully the trend continues with the away jerseys.

Perfect and clean. If anyone hates these they’re just complaining to complain. Same as Nike but with a better font.

Overall, the consensus seems to be that the jerseys are clean and that Vols fans love them. I seriously couldn’t find anyone complaining about the new uniforms. They simply look very clean, and Adidas did a really good job.
The number font was one of the biggest things fans were happy about. The biggest takeaway I’ve seen is that many people believe these uniforms look much better than the Nike uniforms Tennessee has worn over the last decade.
Over the next week, it should be an exciting time as more uniform combinations are revealed. It’s a great time to be a Vols fan.
