He's off to Cleveland and the Browns are lucky to have him. On Saturday, the AFC North side decided to draft Dylan Sampson in the fourth round and something tells us this is going to turn out to be a total steal - yeah, Sampson is that good.
While he was hoping he'd be a Day 2 pick, it didn't happen for the Tennessee football star, but that doesn't mean that Sampson isn't still fired up for this opportunity. Shortly after he was drafted, a video popped up on social media of the exact moment he found out he'd be Cleveland-bound. Look at how much this means to the UT running back. Just incredible:

Dylan Sampson landed in an ideal spot with the Cleveland Browns
As soon as he hung up the phone with Cleveland, Sampson was mobbed by his family and friends. The smile on his face made things a million times better. It was a bit disappointing for him sliding down the draft board a little, as many of us thought he'd be a lock to get selected on Friday.
Looking ahead to his future with the Browns, though, things are looking pretty darn good. Cleveland selected Ohio State's Quinshon Judkins in the second round, but by adding Sampson as well to the RBs room, it seems to hint that Nick Chubb will be on his way out of town.
Cleveland is getting younger and there are some exciting pieces on offense, no question including Sampson. The reigning SEC Offensive Player of the Year was so much fun to watch with the Vols last season, putting up video game-type numbers.
In 2024, the running back rushed for 1,491 yards and 22 touchdowns. Sampson was a major reason why the Vols reached the CFP for the first time ever. With Cleveland drafting him, it's safe to say that plenty of Vols fans will be following the Browns moving forward.
