2. Cameron Ordway

Cameron Ordway, a 6-foot, 174 lb corner out of Pulaski, Tennessee, is another 4-star prospect who is giving the Vols a lot of his time.

In his junior season, Ordway amassed 75 tackles and picked off 9 passes. Couple that with his good size and athleticism, and top programs around the nation started to come knocking on his door.

Ordway, the 243rd ranked recruit and No. 9 player in the state of Tennessee according to the 247Sports Composite, recently released his list of top 10 schools, and the Vols are firmly among his top choices. 247Sports’s crystal ball predictions has Ordway staying in state and committing to the Vols, but it’s clear from Ordway’s list and his recruitment Tennessee can’t just rely on him being an in-state prospect to seal the deal.

With names like Alabama, Ole Miss, Notre Dame, and Ohio State on his list, it’s clear Ordway is highly-touted and won’t just settle for any team. The Vols have made him a priority so far, and they’ll need to continue to do so in order to gain his commitment.
