When folks talk about Tyler Bray, they often laud him for his strong arm, but criticize him for not “having it between the ears”.
Most analysts agree that he has incredible upside and that if he can put it all together that he’ll be a big asset for the Kansas City Chiefs.
The only problem for Bray is that Kansas City has four quarterbacks vying for three spots.
But Bray has apparently made quite an impression on head coach Andy Reid during training camp.
Andy Reid told us Monday Tyler Bray might be KC's most improved player in camp. Looking forward to watching him in 3rd qtr this evening.

Chiefs beat reporter Nick Jacobs has projected Bray to make Kansas City’s roster as the backup quarterback.
Jacobs has the Chiefs keeping Bray and Murray over incumbent backup Chase Daniel.
Here’s what Jacobs had to say about the Chiefs’ quarterback situation behind starter Alex Smith.
"Bray has had an impressive camp. He needs to take the next step in his development with the team. Murray is a similar quarterback to Daniel but he needs reps in this offense. The only way that happens is if he’s on the roster"
I think it’s very likely that this ends up being the scenario. Bray needed some well-rounded coaching, something he didn’t receive under Derek Dooley at Tennessee.
I’m not saying that Bray is going to end up being the next Tom Brady, but he has the potential to be a starter in the NFL. The Chiefs could be grooming him to take over for Alex Smith.
If Bray keeps on impressing like he has been, it wouldn’t surprise me if he’s starting sooner rather than later in Kansas City.
