Vols Recruiting: Donnie Corley Offered By Tennessee
By Zach Ragan
On Thursday, the Tennessee Volunteers extended a scholarship offer to 2016 four-star wide receiver Donnie Corley.
247Sports rates Corley, 6’2″/180 lbs from Wyandotte, MI (Detroit Martin Luther King), as the second best player in the state of Michigan and the 23rd best 2016 wide receiver in the nation.
Corley also has notable offers from Arizona State, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Notre Dame, NC State and Wisconsin, among others.

The Vols would obviously love to land a talented player like Donnie Corley. He fits the bill for the prototypical outside wide receiver that Tennessee loves.
But while Butch Jones has solid recruiting ties in the state of Michigan, it will be hard for the Volunteers to land Corley over schools like Michigan, Michigan State and Notre Dame.
Anything is possible in the world of recruiting, and Butch Jones is one of the best recruiters in the game right now. However, I’m not sure I can see Corley venturing as far south as Tennessee would like.
