Vols Recruiting: Zamir White Offered By Tennessee

2018 running back Zamir White received an offer from the Tennessee Volunteers on Thursday.

White, 6’1″/180 lbs from Laurinburg, NC (Scotland County), was also offered by Ohio State on Thursday.

In addition to his offers from Ohio State and Tennessee, White also has offers from Georgia, NC State and North Carolina.

White is only a freshman in high school, but it’s already clear that he’s going to be one of the nation’s top 2018 running back recruits.

More from Tennessee Volunteers

As we’ve mentioned several times before, Butch Jones and his staff have had success recruiting in North Carolina.

Typically the Vols are going against schools like Clemson, North Carolina, NC State and others for a recruit in the NC area. That will be the case in White’s recruitment, but it also looks like they’ll be up against some of the elite programs in nation as well (such as Ohio State, the defending national champions).

The good news for Tennessee is that they have three years to convince White to come to Rocky Top.

But then again, so does everyone else.
