Fugate, seeking more playing time, decided to transfer from Tennessee to Eastern Kentucky, just prior to the start of the 2013 season. He rushed for 113 yards and accumulated 143 receiving yards in his lone season with the Colonels.
The two big highlights of the 2014 season for Fugate came early in the year. He caught a 42 yard touchdown pass in his Eastern Kentucky debut and then two weeks later he broke off a 49 yard touchdown run.
There aren’t a lot of options for fullbacks in the NFL, but Baltimore is a team that still utilizes the once essential position.
