Hart, a three-star linebacker on Rivals, is ranked No. 28 nationally at his position and No. 12 in the state of Tennessee. He is listed at 6’1″ 220 pounds.
A rising senior at MUS, Hart announced his commitment on Twitter Friday and thanked people close to him.
Hart is a versatile linebacker and goes to a football team that will lose at least one player in Curt Maggitt next year, and Jaylen Reeves-Maybin could leave early with a strong junior season.
Taking that into account, he will be a much-welcomed addition to the football team next year and will provide some quality depth immediately. There is a chance that with a good senior season he could also improve his stock dramatically.
With three linebackers picked up in the 2015 class, Butch Jones is doing a good job of building depth there, but if Hart does improve his stock, he could do more than just provide depth at the position going into the 2016 season.
