With the 2015 college football season just weeks away, here is how the games in the Tennessee Vols schedule rank from easiest to hardest.
Expectations continue to surround the Tennessee Vols with football season set to begin in less than two weeks. We have obviously heard about the returning starters, the coaching staff, the recruiting, and the strong finish to last year.
But that does not fully guarantee a return to prominence after just a 7-6 season. There are still injuries that can affect a young team, and you have the schedule, which depending on how it goes can really affect a season.
Fortunately for the Vols, the schedule this year might be a bit easier than it has been in years past. But in the Tennessee Vols schedulewhich wins are the surest, and which games are the most difficult?

Examining each team, Tennessee gets a decent non-conference draw this year, and they will pretty much have home-field advantage in eight of their 12 games.
Alabama from the West is always a bad draw for the Vols, but Arkansas at home is not terrible. In reality, anybody from the SEC West will be tough.
On the other hand, a couple of games Vols fans desperately want to win are actually on the road this year, which is a bit unfortunate, but it is not the end of the world. They showed last year that they can be pretty good at handling hostile environments after the win against South Carolina and nearly against Georgia.
Oh, and an awful home loss to Florida along with a late-season loss to Missouri showed that home-field advantage may not mean what it once did for Tennessee either.
So taking everything into account, Tennessee’s schedule will be crucial in determining how well the season goes. Even with circled wins, the Vols are only guaranteed to go about 4-8. So they have to pull out more than that.
Here is how each team on the schedule ranks in terms of difficulty, from teams the Vols are most likely to be to the teams they are most likely to lose to.
