We move on to the final team among the easy non-conference games that the Tennessee Vols play this year, and this should be another surefire win. But once again, a loss could be devastating, and the Bowling Green Falcons are by far the most difficult of these three teams.

There are a few other factors making this more important, starting with the fact that it is the opening game. Both teams will be rusty, meaning a few things could happen, so the Vols need to stay focused. At the same time, you always want to set the right tone for the season for opening day, making it that much more crucial they perform well.

Also, this game is in Nashville, so it is a huge recruiting chance for the Vols to improve their presence across the state, as Butch Jones has already been working to do for the past two and a half years.

The Falcons also present the Vols with an opportunity to get a solid, easy non-conference win that actually looks good when it comes to quality wins. So there is clearly more importance here than the other two easy non-conference games.

At the same time, this is still an easy non-conference game, so we have to make sure to avoid overrating the importance of this one. An opening day neutral site chance to get a solid non-conference win is a great opportunity.

But this is still a very easy game that should not matter in the grand scheme of things if the Vols take care of business.
