Entire ESPN College Gameday Crew Picks Oklahoma Over Tennessee
Good news for the Tennessee Vols: College Gameday’s entire crew, including Lee Corso and Kirk Herbstreit, picked the Sooners to beat the Volunteers.
They are officially the underdogs and garnering no respect from the media.
When push came to shove, the experts simply could not trust Tennessee in a big game. And they shouldn’t.

So on Saturday morning’s ESPN College Gameday Show, the entire crew picked the Oklahoma Sooners to beat the Tennessee Vols at Neyland Stadium Saturday evening.
And that is just fine.
Tennessee’s recent history of Corso picking them in big games is terrible. Don’t forget 2012 when Gameday came to Knoxville, the last time the Vols had a game of this magnitude when they were hosting the Florida Gators.
Clearly that did not work out for the Vols after a fourth-quarter collapse.
As a matter of fact, when just one member of the crew picks the Vols in a big game like this, they simply choke. Go back to 2004 when Gameday came to Knoxville and Kirk picked Tennessee just as they got blown out by Auburn.
Don’t forget in 2002 when both picked Tennessee over Florida and they lost 30-13 and then Kirk picked Tennessee over Miami before they lost 26-3.
So this time, when it was all said and done, despite all the hype, nobody can bring themselves to pick Tennessee in a big game, and Tennessee has not earned the respect to be picked in a big game.
After so many chances, we have finally decided we will believe it when we see it. And Corso and Herbstreit agree.
With Rece Davis hosting, Desmond Howard and David Pollack also picked the Sooners, and then Draymond Green came on to pick the Sooners.
So there’s no respect for this team right now.
And that is good news for the Vols.
