The Tennessee-Oklahoma game was a game to see who was back, and the Sooners proved that with their clutch, mentally tough victory over the Volunteers behind the fourth-quarter arm of Baker Mayfield.

For all Vol fans, there was no excuse to blow that 17-0 leave, and the mental toughness of this team once again has to come into question. But the good news is that Tennessee can still accomplish all of its goals on the year, and Oklahoma could be much better than last year. If that’s true, there’s no shame in a double-overtime loss to them.

Tennessee joins three SEC teams overall that fell out of the All for Tennessee Top 25 rankings this week, but the staff had some disagreements with the voting and a couple of teams who belonged.

Here is what our Week Three Top 25 rankings came out looking like after the votes were tabulated.

West Virginia-2

Two straight blowout victories over cupcakes are not enough to put Dana Holgorsen’s West Virginia Mountaineers in the Top 25 yet. But they have looked pretty good so far and were impressive in their blowout over Liberty.

What are your thoughts on our official Top 25 rankings? Who was too high? Who was too low? Who did we leave out? Who should not have been put in?
