All for Tennessee SEC Power Rankings Week Three: LSU Tigers Rise, Auburn Tigers and Arkansas Razorbacks Fall

So it should have come as no shock that Kentucky was able to hold off South Carolina, and that could be just the beginning of what they do this year.
Onto South Carolina, this team clearly has issues on the offensive side of the ball, which always seems odd to think about for a Spurrier-coaches team.
There is no shame in giving up 24 points to a very good Kentucky offense.
But as Spurrier continues to go back to what worked during his days with the Florida Gators for some games by alternating quarterbacks sometimes on a play by play basis, they can’t not score against that very suspect defense, regardless of if Perry Orth or Connor Mitch is starting.
And if they do not figure it out quickly, they could be in trouble. Georgia is up next, and Missouri is two weeks away after that.

Last week: Lost to Kentucky Wildcats 26-22

The South Carolina Gamecocks have as good of a quality win as the Auburn Tigers after beating the North Carolina Tar Heels 17-13, and Steve Spurrier’s team has less shame in losing to the Kentucky Wildcats than Gus Malzahn’s team should have in struggling to put away the Jacksonville State Gamecocks.
South Carolina and Kentucky fought in a game that everybody from the beginning should have thought would be close. The Wildcats were one win away from a bowl game last year, and after recruiting very well and returning almost all the talent that was there, Mark Stoops’s team is another very good SEC program.
