Eric Berry Honored at Tennessee-Western Carolina Game
Kansas City Chiefs safety and former Vol football star Eric Berry was honored at Neyland Stadium when the Volunteers hosted the WCU Catamounts Saturday.
After a great battle against Peyton Manning Thursday night in a game that included plenty of Vol greats, Eric Berry was in Knoxville Saturday night as Tennessee hosted Western Carolina.
Berry, who obviously beat Hodgkin Lymphoma and was back on the field for the Chiefs on opening day, was hanging out on the sidelines before the game.
He was also recognized at midfield.
And he shared a moment with Butch Jones.
Berry is obviously a Tennessee legend, and his story is as great as they come. To see him back in Knoxville is always a good thing.

And to know that he is back on the field and playing well in Kansas City makes every Vol fan proud.
After four tackles Thursday night against the Broncos as he slowly eases back into the lineup, watch out for Berry in the future.
He is clearly fully healthy and will only get better each week as he sees more and more reps.
And it is always nice to see that he does not forget where he came from. He is a true Vol for Life and has been admired by every Vol who has come through the program in recent years.
His legend will only grow with time, and seeing him might have been just the boost Tennessee needed to get up for this game.
