Here are the five Tennessee Volunteers football players who earned helmet stickers, called Smokey Points, in their 55-10 win against the WCU Catamounts.
The Tennessee Vols made sure never to allow this game to get close Saturday, and Butch Jones was able to put the backups in before the first half even ended.
That type of rest is just what they needed with the Florida Gators on the road up next.

For the Vols, this win was not going to reveal as many positives as it would negatives, but as we mentioned in the three things we learned about Tennessee from this game, there were still a few notes we could pull.
This week’s Smokey Points winners includes players who have been on this list multiple times already, and there are also a few who got their names on here for a sentimental value.
The game was exactly the performance Vol Nation needed to see with the Florida Gators coming up this week. While a blowout win should have been expected in this game, the biggest plus to take away from it is that the backups were able to get in the game early.
These players being named deserve the credit for allowing that to happen because without them, the starters would not have been able to be pulled so early.
Getting reps for guys like Quinten Dormady and Josh Kelly along with the young offensive linemen and young defense was huge. Some of these guys got on this list for their performances during that time, but they all had an impact when they were needed.
So here are the top five performers for the Vols against the Western Carolina Catamounts ranked from No. 5 to No. 1 being the player of the game. These guys earned our Week Three Smokey Points.
