Here are the last-minute predictions for the Tennessee vs. Georgia football game as the Volunteers and Bulldogs get set to meet at Neyland Stadium Saturday.

We can say one thing about this game for certain: The Tennessee Vols and Georgia Bulldogs are both going to be desperate for a win here, and the loser will feel like the season is lost, for different reasons.

Georgia is thinking about a spot in the College Football Playoff, and a loss will all but end that.

Tennessee is simply hoping for a return to prominence this season. A loss here makes this year like every previous year dating back to 2008.

Mark Richt needs to prove he is not a classic under-achiever.

Butch Jones needs to prove he can coach on the big stage.

For that reason, both teams will be doing everything possible to win this game, but they have plenty of strengths and weaknesses that will be exposed here.

With that, these are our last-minute predictions for the Tennessee vs. Georgia game.

1. Greyson Lambert will Complete Less than 50 Percent of His Passes

Last week, Greson Lambert showed he is absolutely pathetic going up against a pass rush. This week, he is playing a pass rush that might even be better than Alabama’s.

Led by Derek Barnett, Tennessee has a very deep line that can get pressure on anybody, and they will be the second team to get pressure on Lambert this year.

The result will be disastrous. Lambert will have to be bailed out by this next prediction.

2. Nick Chubb Will Have 100 Yards Rushing

3. Joshua Dobbs Will Total at Least 300 Yards

The Georgia Bulldogs have looked suspect on defense all year. Against the South Carolina Gamecocks, they gave up 20 points, and against Alabama, they made Jacob Coker look very efficient and gave up lots of yards on the ground.

Joshua Dobbs has been scrutinized by the Vols, and while he is not the most accurate quarterback, he is extremely mobile, smart, and has a good arm. The thinking is that his versatility will keep Georgia on its heels, and Mike DeBord and Butch Jones will finally listen to the pleas of Vols fans to throw downfield.

With elite receivers, that should add another element. However, it will come at a price.

4. Georgia Will Hold Joshua Dobbs to Under 50 Percent Passing and Have an Interception

Despite the need for Tennessee to use Joshua Dobbs more and the big play potential for the Vols when you look at their set of receivers, the Georgia Bulldogs are indeed loaded in the secondary.

And Tennessee will not win unless they get Jalen Hurd involved a lot along with Dobbs.

But when Dobbs is throwing, his lack of accuracy will create a few problems. The Vols rarely throw it to covered receivers, and Georgia is great in coverage. Meanwhile, they will knock down a lot of passes, and at least once they will have an interception.

That will be something for Tennessee to overcome. But speaking of turnovers, there is something Georgia will have to overcome as well.

5. Tennessee Will Win the Turnover Battle

Despite their three losses, the Vols have won the turnover battle on the year, and they have shown a solid ability to take care of the football.

Meanwhile, the Dawgs just came off a three-turnover game against the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Although they will have a defensive interception, Greyson Lambert will be forced into making too many mistakes, and overall Tennessee will win the turnover battle. That is the one thing that will keep the Vols with a chance to win the game.
