The Tennessee Vols came back from a 24-3 deficit to stun the Georgia Bulldogs 38-31 Saturday. Here are the grades for the Volunteers football team.

Well, we can at least say the Vols earned honor roll here.

Butch Jones and Co. remained poised and calm as Tennessee fell down 24-3 to the Georgia Bulldogs.

Despite the serious injury to Nick Chubb on the first drive, which we all hate to see, and three straight three and outs, the Volunteers managed to do everything to put Georgia ahead in the game.

But after falling behind 24-3, to fourth down calls by Butch Jones and Mike DeBord resulted in one touchdown, and after a fumble on a kickoff return, you know the rest.

This football game had all the makings of a Tennessee-Georgia game: a goal-line fumble, special teams errors, a huge comeback, and a game that went down to the wire.

There is nobody who did not expect this coming, and quite honestly, plenty of football units on the Vols offense finally showed what they can be in this game.

It was always just a matter of experience and confidence before Tennessee could get on a roll and finally start to win close games.

And it was also clearly ironic that Tennessee got down early in this game, not up, before coming back to win.

Still, no matter how it happened, the Vols moved to 3-3 off a huge upset as they head into their bye week with lots of momentum, and Butch Jones has to be a lot happier than he was throughout the week.

Tennessee is now in great shape to still make a lot of noise if certain units keep up what they have been doing.

Knowing that, here are the grades for each unit of the Vols offense.
