Ole Miss and Texas A&M fell in the Week Eight All for Tennessee official SEC Power Rankings, while Alabama rose. See where everybody else stands.

It was a crazy week of SEC football, even without the Tennessee Vols playing over the weekend.

One SEC team got thoroughly exposed, another SEC team is beginning to prove itself more, and another one showed that it might be legitimate even after losing.

The All for Tennessee Week Eight SEC Power Rankings had another shake-up, which had to be expected when you had two games where undefeated teams went at each other, one of those games in which the team proved itself despite losing, and you had another SEC team lose to a Group of Five opponent.

Meanwhile, other teams won but looked hideous in the process.

And two mediocre SEC teams played on a Thursday night to not be at the bottom of the barrel in the conference.

All of this obviously creates plenty of changes in the SEC Power Rankings, and it might have even affected the Vols. But Tennessee will have a chance to make a jump in these rankings with a visit to Tuscaloosa this week.

More from Vols Football

Butch Jones’s squad plays a team that had a pretty good jump in this week’s rankings after beating an undefeated team on the road.

After that, the rest of the way features games against teams toward the bottom of the SEC, unless you want to make a case for two of the teams the Vols play on the road. But you can’t put both of them in the top half.

Anyway, coming off of Tennessee’s much needed bye week as they get ready to face the Alabama Crimson Tide on the road, here are the Official All for Tennessee SEC Power Rankings for Week Eight of the college football season.
