AFT Week 9 Top 25: Ohio St. No. 1; LSU & Baylor in Running

There is no consensus on the All for Tennessee Week Nine Top 25 Rankings, but the No. 1 team has not changed. See where everybody else stands.

The field may have narrowed, but the disagreements have not.

Everybody on staff voted for a different No. 1 team in the official All for Tennessee Week Nine Top 25 rankings. In some cases, a team that was No. 1 in one person’s poll was not even in the Top Five in another voter’s poll.

With 12 undefeated teams left, we are getting to the exciting point of college football and the heart of the season. It is only possible for six of them to be undefeated at the end of the season, and only four can make the College Football Playoff.

So we’ve got a lot of drama headed the rest of the way, particularly when you consider the fact that many of these teams are facing one-loss Top 25 teams trying to get back into the race.

So we are about to be in for some drama. The field was unexpectedly narrowed last week with two undefeated teams losing to unranked teams. Things could get crazier soon.

Consider that we could still have 10 undefeated teams three weeks from now. But it is likely a few more of them will fall.
