Tennessee Vols quarterback Joshua Dobbs threw a 75-yard touchdown pass to Josh Malone in the second quarter vs. the Kentucky Wildcats to take a 17-14 lead.

Trailing 14-10, the Tennessee Vols had surrendered momentum to the Kentucky Wildcats offense after they scored their first offensive touchdown of the game.

With less than six minutes left in the second quarter, the defense finally had the rest it needed, the offense was going, and Wildcats fans were in the game.

It took one play for Joshua Dobbs to put that to rest.

That happened on this play right here, when he threw the ball down the field to Josh Malone.

At that point, Dobbs had a 28-yard touchdown run, and this was a 75-yard touchdown pass to Malone.

He took complete control of the Wildcats in the first half, and he was the guy to take the momentum away from them.

To be fair, he gave it to them with a fumble that was returned for a touchdown on the first drive, but he managed to offset that with lots of great runs and passes right after that.

As the season has progressed, Dobbs has gotten better and better. He took control of the first half for Tennessee.
