Here are the offense, defense, special teams, and coaching grades for the Tennessee Volunteers in their 52-21 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats Saturday.

It is hard to find a lot wrong with a 52-21 victory on the road over a football team likely to make a bowl game at the end of the year.

The Tennessee Vols had weapons step up all over the field, Butch Jones was great at coaching to win instead of not to lose and turning his players loose, and they had the right mentality, never panicking when a few things did not go their way.

All of that made for a rare breather, something the Vols have not had since they blew out Western Carolina in the third game of the season.

Tennessee gave fans lots to be happy about with their victory and showed lots of encouragement and improvement to set the stage for what should be a strong finish to the season.

It took a lot of great performances by so many of the units to make that happen.

We have already acknowledged how well certain individuals performed. But how well did each unit perform?

Despite the dominating performance, there were a few issues on both sides of the football and still a few things that need to be worked on.

It’s hard to fully measure how well this team truly performed against a Kentucky team that is reeling, even if they do make a bowl game.

But some units definitely deserve more credit than others. Here is the report card for the Tennessee Vols in their 52-21 victory over the Kentucky Wildcats.
