The official All for Tennessee SEC Bowl Projections for Week 10 includes three teams in the New Years Six and 11 teams overall. See where everybody stands.
With the first official College Football Playoff Rankings released on Tuesday night, the message is clear that SEC teams are getting a lot of love. That was to be expected after Alabama posting the No. 3 strength of schedule and LSU posting a Top 20 one while Florida posts the No. 6 one.
All three teams made the Top 10, meaning they all would be in one of the New Years Six bowl games up to this point.
As we get set to bring out our first set of bowl projections, they are based on where the College Football Playoff rankings are right now and where the SEC standings are.
We then use our official Top 25 and our SEC Power Rankings to project where those teams will stand at the end of the year, and that is how we come up with our bowl projections.
Adding in which teams are most likely to get an invite based on who they are, a clear view emerges of where each team is going to go.
After the College Football Playoff rankings, we have a very good idea of what the selection committee is going to use to pick its teams as well.

What is clear through the first set of bowl projections is that, once again, the SEC West towers over the SEC East in these rankings, and the East might even be worse than we thought.
Seriously, outside of Florida, it’s hard to sell any East team deserving of a New Years Day bowl game. Meanwhile, there are five teams in the SEC West that could conceivably make a run at the College Football Playoff. And all of them are in legitimate contention for a New Year’s Six game.
Knowing all of this, here is a look at our bowl projections for every SEC team along with every New Year’s Six bowl game.
