Vols Win On The Road Against Missouri
By Zach Ragan
For the first time since 2009, the Vols have won seven games in the regular season, after beating Missouri 19-8 on Saturday night.
Sophomore running back Jalen Hurd paced the offensive attack for Tennessee, rushing for 151 yards on 31 carries. Hurd now has over 1,000 rushing yards on the season.
Missouri has one of the toughest defenses in the SEC, but the Vols were able to move the ball fairly well in Gary Pinkel’s final home game as the Tigers’ coach.

The heavily criticized Aaron Medley hit four field goals for Tennessee on Saturday night, including a 44 yarder in the first half.
Josh Dobbs finished the night 16-24 for 89 yards. Von Pearson led Tennessee in receiving with seven catches for 28 yards.
The Vols will attempt to get to eight wins for the first time since 2007 next Saturday against Vanderbilt.
