The 2015 SEC Championship game is the worst match-up Tennessee Vols fans could ask for: Florida vs. Alabama. Here are 10 drinking games to help them cope.
Really, could you have asked for a worse match-up if you are a Tennessee Vols fan? It’s not like it’s new, given the fact that Florida and Alabama have played for the conference title seven times since it began in 1992.
But it never gets any easier to watch.
Nobody wants to see their two most hated teams playing for their team’s league championship, especially when one team has a chance at even greater accomplishments down the road.
For many NFL fans, this would be like the Cowboys and Patriots in the Super Bowl.
Tennessee surrendered late fourth-quarter leads against both of these teams, and they hate them more than any other team.
That makes this game extremely painful.
How are Vols fans supposed to pull for either of them? They simply cannot.
The silver lining is that once the bowl season begins, fans can pull for both teams, as the SEC loyalty kicks in.

And as painful as it is, the incessant hatred of Florida from the newer fan base along with the hope of having an SEC team compete for a national title will force Tennessee fans to pull for Alabama.
But there’s one way to salvage it: drink the issue away (Only if you are of age and have no plans to drive, of course).
Here is a drinking game with 10 rules for everybody in Knoxville to help deal with the match-up. Fans can take a drink when any of these things happen.
