If you’re among those who were big fans of the Vols’ new uniforms in 2015, you’re far from alone.

On Monday, Uniswag.com revealed that Tennessee has won the title of best uniform in 2015. The Vols edged out Florida State, Oregon and Navy (surely this is an upset, since Oregon is known for their revolving door of colorful uniforms).

Tennessee, who made the switch to Nike in 2015, debuted their new smokey gray uniforms against Georgia. The Nike version included a smokey gray helmet (which also included an outline of the smokey mountains).

The Volunteers twice wore their Adidas smokey gray uniforms, to no avail. But the Nike smokey grays proved to be good luck, as the Vols took down the Bulldogs wearing the fancy looking gray uniforms.

It’s amazing the kind of momentum that UT has right now. They’re winning on the field (completely destroying Northwestern in the Outback Bowl) and off the field (making two splash hires this off-season, new tight ends coach Larry Scott and new defensive coordinator Bob Shoop).

Winning “best uniform” may not seem like it means much. It certainly isn’t a program defining moment for the Vols, but it is something that recruits will pay attention to when making a final decision on which college to attend.

Tennessee shows no signs of slowing down. Buckle up because 2016 could be one wild, fun ride.
