Tennessee football: Ranking the 10 key former Vols in the NFL Playoffs
The Tennessee Titans acquired Luke Stocker at the end of the season after he had spent most of this year and the other six years of his NFL career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. However, Tennessee football fans in Nashville know how valuable of a pickup he could be.

The 6’5″ 253-pound tight end was able to see action in three games with the Titans. He only had one catch for 12 yards, which was in the final game. And he also committed a couple of key and untimely penalties.
However, he was going to need a bit of time to get acclimated into the system. And heading into the NFL Playoffs, he should have that with three games under his belt.
Stocker can be just enough of a threat in the passing game and is a great added blocker. Despite Mike Mularkey’s archaic offense holding the team back, Titans fans have to just accept that as long as he’s there, they need the personnel to get the best out of that offense.
And a physical blocking tight end like Stocker can be a huge asset for this offense, especially when he’s enough of a three in the passing game. This weekend, against the Kansas City Chiefs, it’s also important to point out the fact that Stocker is going up against a team missing another former Tennessee football player in Eric Berry.
That means a lack of a physical safety can make him even more of a threat, blocking and passing. But speaking of blocking when it comes to the Chiefs, let’s go to the next guy on the list.
