Denver Broncos. player. 45. Scouting Report. 4th AFC West. 5-11. 5. Pick Analysis

The Denver Broncos struggled last season after having five straight winnings seasons, and four of them was good enough for first place in the AFC West. To many Broncos fans, the 5-11 season was one of the worst seasons in history.

However, you can not point to one position and say that it was the reason; it was a collective effort of defective all the way around. At one point during a 0-6 stretch, the Broncos lost to at the time a winless New York Giants team, and they were shut out at home for the first time in 25 years against the Los Angeles Chargers.

During that span, the Broncos were only scoring 14.1 points per game while giving up a head shaking 30.8 while giving up 17 turnovers.

What tight ends are on the Broncos roster?

The Broncos lose a veteran in Virgil Green who left the team to sign with the Los Angeles Chargers. So that leaves the Broncos with Jake Butt (Michigan), Jeff Heuerman (Ohio State), Matt LaCosse (Illinois), Brian Parker (Albany), and Austin Traylor (Wisconsin).

The position is filled with a bunch of unproven guys that Ethan Wolf could unquestionably compete for the job with. They did, however, add quarterback Case Keenum who completed an impressive 63.8% of his third-down passes last season.

Wolf could help Keenum keep his effective completion percentage high with his excellent pass-catching ability. If Denver is willing to wait to pull the trigger for a tight end, Wolf could be there waiting.
