More from Vols Football

It has happened again. The Vols get ranked high in the polls, and there is a huge letdown. And, it happened at home, come on Pruitt.

Tennessee football falls to 7-4 and needs a win against the in-state rival Vanderbilt, to get to eight wins.

It seems like when Tennessee losses it is because of a slow start they can’t overcome. Missouri scored the first 21 points and took that lead into the fourth quarter. Tennessee couldn’t get anything going until a Jauan Jennings touchdown that cut the lead to 14 points.

After a fumble recovery, Chryst hooked up with Marquez Callaway for a 32-yard touchdown. With the crowd back in the game, the Vols let them down and couldn’t get anything else going.

Players of the Game

Offense – Quarterback, Keller Chryst

Maybe one of his best games of the season. Chryst threw for 218 yards on 17-of-28 with two touchdowns.

Kongbo led the team with seven tackles. Three of them were for tackles for loss and one sack.
