Despite making a Sweet 16 run the Aggies were disappointing in the regular season. They actually started 0-5 in conference play.
The Aggies came to Knoxville due for a win. However, the Vols didn’t give them room to breathe in a 75-62 win. Jordan Bowden was a massive part of the win.
In 28 minutes of action, Bowden scored 15 points and added six rebounds. He also had a good shooting night going 4-for-8 from the field.
This was one of Bowden’s most consistent games all season. He wasn’t called upon to be the leading scorer, but he was a big part of the offense.
Bowden’s two shots from the three-point line came in the middle of the second half that put the game out of reach. At the 11 minute mark, the Vols went up 13 and never gave back the lead.
Moving forward to the next game on the list. It was much closer, and all of Bowden’s points were much needed.
