No.5 – Jabari Zuniga, Defensive lineman

It would be wrong for me not to highlight at least one defensive lineman as bad as Tennessee’s offensive line is playing. Plus, it is an SEC game and winning in the trenches is a critical part of the game.

More from All for Tennessee

The redshirt junior, Zuniga is on pace to have his best season yet with the Gators. In the first three games, he has registered ten total tackles with 3.5 tackles for loss. He also has 2.5 sacks on the season. His career high in sacks was his freshman season when he had five.

The Vols offensive line is the worst position group on the team. They have only given up five sacks this season, mainly because quarterback Jarrett Guarantano is learning how to get rid of the ball faster.

The offensive line ranks 111th in the nation given up six tackles for loss per game. There have been a few plays this season where the running backs would get the ball and immediately get hit by a defensive player.

Zuniga is quick off the ball and should cause havoc in the backfield if the offensive line doesn’t come to play. He is on pace to register a tackle for loss and a sack per game. It won’t surprise us a bit if Zuniga is in the backfield all game long. The only thing that helps the Vols is the game is in Knoxville.
