More from Vols Football

The Alabama Crimson Tide just beat the Texas A&M Aggies by 22 points, and fans and analysts are wondering what they did wrong to not win by more. Keep in mind this is a Texas A&M team that took the Clemson Tigers, either the second or best third team in the nation, to the final seconds two weeks before.

That should give you an idea of how talented these guys are. Nick Saban has his usual team with an elite playmaker at quarterback now, and it’s proving to be completely unfair. Nobody can come close to these guys, and the crazy part is A&M showed flashes.

There’s just no way around it. Any win against the Tide this year will be an upset for the ages, and it’ll take more recruiting classes from Georgia like the one they got last year to legitimately create a competitor to these guys. They just look invincible!

Unfortunately, Alabama won’t give us much to watch for over the next few weeks either, as they face the Louisiana Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns and the Arkansas Razorbacks coming up. Then they get the Missouri Tigers at home and the Tennessee Vols on the road.

Simply put, these guys are going to have no trouble getting to 8-0, and they’ll stay easily at the top of our SEC Power Rankings. That’s before the real schedule begins with the LSU Tigers and Auburn Tigers in November.
