There were three wins that could be ranked anyway fans decide. None of them were impressive wins, and honestly, Tennessee didn’t look particularly great in any of them. However, UTEP was shutout in the 24-0 loss to the Vols.

This wins ranks at number five on our list because the Miners were a horrible team. They are 5-31 in their last 36 games and was coming into the Tennessee game with a 14-game losing streak. To make matters worst just the week before they lost to UNLV 54-24.

I suppose a shutout was nice. It was the Vols’ first shutout since the 2016 season against Tennessee Tech in a 55-0 win.

The UTEP game was yet another one that opened with a Brett Cimaglia field goal. It wasn’t until the second quarter that Tennessee scored a touchdown thanks to a three-yard run from running back Tim Jordan.

Running back Ty Chandler had a huge game against the Miners, rushing for 158 yards on 12 carries with one touchdown. This was a weird game because the offense didn’t play bad but only scored 24 points.

The win against the Miners gave Tennessee their first two-game winning streak of the season. However, it didn’t help much as a tune-up as they lost to Florida the week after 47-21.
