No.3 – Admiral Schofield is a first-round draft pick

For our fourth goal, we are keeping it on the NBA side of things. Senior, Admiral Schofield becomes a first-round draft pick. Remember last season Schofield tested the NBA waters visiting multiple summer camps. However, he decided to come back to Tennessee and finish our his career.

Coming into the season, many 2019 NBA mock drafts had Schofield as a late second-rounder, and some still had him on the outside looking in signing with teams as a free agent.

Much like his whole career he has proved the masses wrong yet again. Earlier this week Bleacher Report published a mock draft that had both Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield getting drafted in the first round.

According to their projection, the Brooklyn Nets would select Schofield with the 28th pick. I think 28 is a bit low considering the level Schofield has taken his game. He is averaging 18.4 points a game and is knocking down the outside jumper over 40 percent on the year.

He has an NBA frame with great defensive potential on the next level. It wouldn’t surprise us if Schofield continues his high level of play and moves up the draft board.
