Now we’re getting to the big wigs that Tennessee football is targeting. And Jammie Robinson is one who would provide immediate depth, fill a long-term need, and bring real, elite talent to bolster the recruiting class ranking.

More from All for Tennessee

A four-star safety on Rivals, Robinson is down to the Vols along with the South Carolina Gamecocks, the Auburn Tigers and the Kentucky Wildcats. South Carolina is a favorite to land him, but what Anthony Harris does could dictate Robinson’s move.

Harris is a three-star commit to Rocky Top who didn’t sign with the Vols in the early signing period and is now looking into the North Carolina Tar Heels, his home state school, with Mack Brown there. If he flips, it becomes urgent that the Vols somehow try to steal Robinson. That’s why he’s so high on this list.

Coming out of Lee County in Georgia, Jeremy Pruitt does have a solid pipeline to Robinson, as does new staff member Tee Martin. And the 5’11” 190-pound safety would provide lots of help, especially when 2020 rolls around and Nigel Warrior graduates.

Four-star Jaylen McCullough and three-star Aaron Beasley still keep this position pretty deep for the Vols, but they need to load up more since they’re about to be very thin there. That makes Robinson a big deal.
