Oh, you thought we were done with offensive linemen? Guess again. Tennessee football has a collection of area and in-state talent at that position this year, and it’s hard to say that they should look elsewhere.

More from Vols Football

Bryn Tucker is another Knoxville area lineman, and he brings elite talent to the Vols. The Knoxville Catholic prospect is a four-star who primarily plays guard, and like the other guys on this list, he already has the proper size.

Coming in at 6’5″ 305 pounds, Tucker is the top offensive line prospect for the Vols to pursue. He’s a proven local guy with high ratings who already has the size, which fits Jeremy Pruitt’s profile perfectly. Now, going to Knoxville Catholic, Tucker could end up with the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, who have a pipeline to that school.

The Vols also have to fend off the Auburn Tigers, Virginia Tech Hokies and every other elite southern school to a lesser degree. But that doesn’t mean that UT shouldn’t be the favorite to land him over all of those schools.

Tucker has got a great chance to see early action with them, and with Jim Chaney back in Knoxville, UT has great connections to secure top-notch offensive linemen. They have to keep the ones who are in their backyard.
