Tennessee basketball: A look at the Vols road to the Final Four
No.7 Cincinnati Bearcats (28-6)
Cincinnati, OH – American Athletic Conference
Head coach: Mick Cronin
Assuming the Vols win against Colgate on Friday afternoon, they could draw Cincinnati in the Second Round. As we mentioned earlier, Tennessee will play their first two games in Columbus, OH. If you are horrible at geography, Cincinnati is in Ohio as well. The Bearcats could essentially have a home game against Tennessee if both teams win their first matchups. Which makes absolutely no sense.
Best win
You have to say their best win was either against Houston in the AAC Conference Championship Game on Sunday afternoon. Or, you could go all the way back to November 24 when they were able to put down the Ole Miss Rebels 71-57.

Worst loss
Five of their six losses this season are against teams in the NCAA Tournament teams. However, the worst loss came on January 5th against the 10-21 East Carolina Pirates. The Bearcats shot just 15.8 percent from deep and 44.4 percent from the free throw line.
Longest streak
The Bearcats had a nine-game win streak after losing the opening game of the season to Ohio State. During the run, Cincinnati beat Xavier and Ole Miss before losing to Mississippi State.
What they do best
Cincinnati is not a good shooting team. They don’t shoot the ball well from inside the arc, three-point line, or free throw line.
But, two things they do great is offensive rebound and grab steals. They rank inside the top five in the country in both categories.
