Pritchard is only averaging 12.7 points per game but also pulling down close to four rebounds per game and 4.5 assists. However, in the eight-game win streak, Pritchard is scoring nearly 16 points per game with five assists and 3.5 rebounds.
In the Pac 12 Conference Tournament Championship Game, Pritchard scored 20 points on 7-for-9 from the floor, including 2-for-4 from the three-point line.
As junior he has experience, and he’s a flashy guard that likes to drive to the rim and get easy buckets. He doesn’t draw a lot of fouls, only getting to the line 2.9 times per game, but he can cut through the defense.
What’s scary about Pritchard if you are Tennessee is his ability to get to the rim and step back and drain the three-point shot. He’s averaging around 33 percent from deep for the season but is approximately 36 percent the past eight games.
The Vols and Ducks might not play during the tournament, but if the Ducks go on a run, you could point to the play of Pritchard.
