No.1 – Offense by the numbers

3- adjusted offensive efficiency: Tennessee finished with the third adjusted offensive efficiency rating in the nation. Only two teams finished higher which was Gonzaga, who Tennessee beat, and Virginia, who is playing in the Final Four on Saturday night.

13- games under 50 percent: There were 13 games where the Vols finished with a 50 percent or worse two-point percentage. That’s remarkable when you think about the fact the Vols played 37 games. However, when they struggled from inside the arc, Tennessee had a record of 7-5.

More from All for Tennessee

39.5- two-point percentage: 39.5 percent was the lowest percentage of the season which came against the Gonzaga Bulldogs. Despite this being the only game where the Vols shot below 40 percent from inside the arc, they still got the win.

55.4- two-point percentage: The Vols finished the season with a 55.4 two-point percentage. The percentage ranked 22nd overall. In fact, 55.4 percent was the best out of all SEC teams. Mississippi State was second in the conference with a percentage of 37.7.

73.8- two-point percentage against Texas A&M: The Vols were on fire against the Aggies in the 93-76 win on the road. Tennessee finished 31-for-42 and even shot a high percentage from the three-point line.

75.8- free throw percentage: The Vols finished the season with a 75.8 free throw percentage on the season. That percentage was good enough for top-25 in the nation which made the performance against Purdue mind-boggling. Against the Boilermakers, the Vols shot 12-for-24, 50 percent, from the charity stripe.
