Although the win wasn’t against one of the best teams in the nation, it was against Florida and shouldn’t be overlooked. You could argue winning in the O’Connell Center was one of the most impressive of them all.

Sure, the Vols had a few road games under their belt, but maybe the toughest was taking a nine-game win streak to take on the Gators. Anytime Florida and Tennessee get together, you know there is going to be a game.

But, nothing during the game is making our list even though there were a few fantastic plays like the Admiral Schofield three-point jumper from the corner to put the Vols up five points. That play was set up from an outstanding pass from Grant Williams.

However, the moment of the game came after the game was over and the Vols went over to the Florida student section, and gator chomped all the fans.

It was a sigh of relief of sorts for the Tennessee players, coaches, and fans. Although it was Florida, it was almost a win that gave the Vols the confidence that they could play with anyone.

And, win against anyone.
