No.3 – 2013 NFL Draft

Cordarrelle Patterson: Round 1 Pick 29

Wide receiver and return man, Cordarrelle Patterson led things for the Vols in the 2013 NFL Draft as the 29th pick in the first round. Patterson only played one season with Tennessee football, but it was a great season.

In 12 games, Patterson accounted for 778 yards on 46 receptions with five touchdowns along with 308 rushing yards with three more touchdowns. He also had 24 kick returns for 671 yards with a touchdown and four punt returns for 101 yards and one touchdown.

Justin Hunter: Round 2 Pick 34

The second Vol off the board was dynamic wide receiver, Justin Hunter. The former four-star prospect was ranked 23rd nationally, fifth-ranked wide receiver, and second-highest ranked player from Virginia.

At Tennessee, Hunter finished with 106 receptions for 1,812 yards with 18 touchdowns. He averaged 17.1 yards per catch.

Dallas Thomas: Round 3 Pick 77

Dallas Thomas came off the board with the 77th pick in the third round. The 6-foot-5 offensive linemen appeared in 49 games with the Vols. Thomas’ NFL career ended in 2016.

Mychal Rivera: Round 6 Pick 184

Finally, finishing the 2013 NFL Draft for the Volunteers was Mychal Rivera. The 6-foot-3 tight end played three with Tennessee accounting for 1,018 yards on 76 receptions and six touchdowns.
