If you’re taking over a bad team, you have to realize you are going to take your lumps. That’s okay as long as you are getting young guys the opportunity to play and get that experience.
So, Tennessee is the team to start with because of all the young talent.
Jeremy Pruitt pieced together the number 12th ranked recruiting class in the nation in 2019.
That class included guys like four-stars Quavaris Crouch, Ramel Keyton, Jaylen McCollough, Eric Gray, Tyus Fields, and others.
Maybe, more importantly, you would be starting with a team that is going to have one of the best offensive lines in the nation in a few years.
In the 2019 recruiting class, Pruitt signed five-stars Wanya Morris and Darnell Wright, along with Jackson Lampley and Melvin McBride.
The Vols also have young talent from the 2018 class that has already made an impact on the team.
