Jeremy Pruitt clearly has connections to Alabama, and if he needs to add another quarterback for insurance, Drake Baker wouldn’t be a bad place to start. Tennessee football has offered him along with the Memphis Tigers and Jacksonville State.
Memphis’s recent offensive success under Mike Norvell would make that an ideal school for him, but if Pruitt, Jim Chaney and Chris Weinke make a serious push, they could certainly be in the running. Baker has good size, and he would add more depth and create more competition. Pruitt could then have four options to work with to replace Jarrett Guarantano in 2021.
