No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes vs. No. 8 Wisconsin Badgers

Big Ten Championship Game

Line: Ohio State -18; Over/Under: 56 TV: Fox

Saturday, Dec. 7 at 8 p.m. ET; Lucas Oil Stadium; Indianapolis, Ind.

We go to the final undefeated team for conference championship week. The Ohio State Buckeyes, despite the LSU Tigers having the toughest road to 12-0 and the Clemson Tigers having the longest winning streak, have looked the most impressive as they have been winning.

More from Vols Football

Ohio State just dropped 56 against the Michigan Wolverines, and Ryan Day’s first team has aced every test with flying colors. Nobody has come within single digits of them, and they haven’t played the easy Clemson Tigers schedule. By replacing Greg Schiano as defensive coordinator, they have now dominated on both sides of the ball.

Facing them on the other side will be the Wisconsin Badgers. This team dominated the Minnesota Golden Gophers to win the Big Ten West title at 10-2. In fact, they won 38-17 on the road. So they deserve some love for how they played there. Could it be enough for them to pull off a major upset against the team from Columbus?

Next. Five takeaways from Vols' 28-10 win vs. Vanderbilt. dark

Prediction

Although Ohio State beat Wisconsin 38-7 earlier this year, that game was in Columbus, and the Badgers’ offense has gotten better. Also, there’s something about OSU allowing 27 points to Michigan. So this 18-point spread is just a bit too high. Ohio State wins, but Wisconsin does some scoring to keep OSU from covering. Take the over and OSU but Wisconsin on the spread.
