Place Kicker
1. Brent Cimaglia
2017-2019
What Brent Cimaglia did in 2019 was amazing. He only legitimately missed four field goals, and he was perfect on field goals beyond 50 yards. Cimaglia was extremely reliable for Tennessee football, and he still hasn’t missed an extra point. His leg and overall consistency in 2018 and 2019 make him the best place kicker of the decade for the Vols.
2. Michael Palardy
2010-2013

Although he was never consistent at kicker, Michael Palardy also was a kickoff specialist and spent one year as a punter. His huge leg has earned him time in the NFL, and he did finally come through in 2013, when he hit 14 of 17 field goals, including the game-winner against the South Carolina Gamecocks. Missing an extra point that year, though, makes him the backup on here.
Punter
1. Trevor Daniel
2013-2017
By far the Vols’ best punter of the decade, Trevor Daniel continued the tradition of Punter U, and he won the job as a walk-on redshirt. Well, the walk-on wins the job for the all-decade team as well. He started three years, 2015 through 2017, and was a model of consistency with his huge leg for the Vols. There’s no doubt about this one.
2. Matt Darr
2010-2014
He didn’t have Trevor Daniel’s leg, but Matt Darr was more consistent than Joe Doyle and Paxton Brooks have been so far. As a result, he’s the guy who gets to back up Daniel as the punter on this list. Darr did spend time in the NFL as well, so he also helped UT carry on the tradition of Punter U. Nobody would be upset with him being the regular starter.
