Like Daniel Bituli, Jauan Jennings is a known commodity. Unlike Bituli, there is a wide range of what that known commodity could transfer to in the NFL. Things would have been a lot easier of Jennings aced his combine performances, particularly if he had a much better 40-time, but that didn’t happen. As a result, nobody knows what to make of him.

As Tennessee football’s top leading receiver, Jennings was a playmaker. Eight of his 11 total touchdowns last year resulted in lead changes, and we all know of his Hail Mary catch in 2016 and go-ahead score the week before to beat the Georgia Bulldogs and Florida Gators respectively. Heck, Jennings caught the go-ahead touchdown in UT’s 2018 win at the Auburn Tigers.

Simply put, this guy is the ultimate gamer. He’s also a known, vocal leader, and he led the league in yards after contact after catch last year. The question is, how does that translate into the pros? This is why his range is from the third round to the seventh round. If Jennings does go in the third round to the Saints, he would obviously thrive. What receiver doesn’t for Sean Payton?

New England probably wouldn’t be a great fit for him, as Jennings isn’t the most crisp route-runner. Indianapolis, Chicago and Detroit, however, would all give him a fair shake, and he’d be a great complement to Cordarrelle Patterson, a speed guy, with the Bears.
